Become A Grower Member

Becoming a member of the Maine Aquaculture Association offers numerous benefits to aquaculture farmers. Membership provides access to a wealth of resources, including technical assistance, business planning, regulatory guidance, and communications support.

We serve as a unified voice for the industry, advocating for policies and regulations that promote responsible and sustainable aquaculture practices. By actively engaging with government agencies, policymakers, and the public, the MAA ensures that the interests of aquaculture farmers are represented and protected.

In addition to advocacy, the MAA provides invaluable resources and support to its members. Through workshops, training programs, and educational materials, the association equips farmers with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in a rapidly evolving industry.

The MAA also facilitates networking opportunities, fostering collaboration among farmers, researchers, and industry experts to drive innovation and best practices. By joining the MAA, aquaculture farmers become part of a supportive community that is committed to their success.

As one of Maine’s aquatic growers, the Maine Aquaculture Association has much to offer you. First, MAA is a network of people who face many of the same challenges you do on the water, with the banks, with the legislature and government agencies, and in the marketplace. Through MAA, our common needs become the industry position. Apply for membership today using our simple online application. (link to membership application)
